Up-and-coming artiste Mad Vibes believes that his new single, 'Richer than the Average' could be his breakthrough song to get him to the next level.

"The response has been great, the radio deejays have added the song to rotation on a number of radio stations, and the buzz is getting bigger. I have love for dancehall and reggae music and it motivates me to write songs that throw a spotlight on our society, whether it is our culture and our customs," the artiste whose real name is Everette Hill, said.

The single, 'Richer than the Average', which was released on the 24/7 Music Production label on April 12th this year.

He is also pushing a video for another single called 'All This Time' which will be released on cable TV next week. Mad Vibes is signed to a US-based company, 24/7 Music Production, and has released three songs so far to gain a buzz in the industry.

"I am not doing an official EP yet, just focussing on putting out singles to get the marketplace familiar with the music. I also have a combination called 'Money Mek Money' with Lutan Fyah that will be released this Summer," Mad Vibes said.

Mad Vibes writes his own songs, and gets his inspiration from the dancehall legend, Bounty Killer. He has performed at a number of community events, and at events in the Corporate Area such as Reggae Yaad at 12 Waterloo Road.

He grew up in Sawyers, Trelawny where he attended Sawyers All Age school, and he started writing songs in the year 2000. He is hoping to carve out a niche in the competitive music industry. His very first release was a tribute to West Indies Cricket Team, which was played by Ron Muschette on Irie FM and created a buzz in his Trelawny hometown. His first official recorded track entitled “Wine Yah Gal” was released on the Fast Wine Riddim which was released in April of 2018. Since that time, he has worked assiduously on his craft.

“I'm pleased with where my career is going, and my management is doing a great job, so I am looking forward to great things in the future," he said.
